Mag-Tran Equipment Corporation designs and manufactures transformers to suit just about any industry for any situation. Whether you are looking for a single-phase 1 VA tranformer or a three-phase 2,000 kVA transformer, Mag-Tran can customize the product to suit your needs. All of our transformers utilize UL recognized insulation systems from 55°C to 220°C, with voltage classes up to
15 kVA.

Custom 3-Phase Transformers
Mag-Tran can design and manufacture custom 3-phase transformers (open frame or enclosed) from 200 VA to 1.8 mVA with frequencies of 50/60 Hz, 400 Hz, and variable frequencies between 45 and 4000 Hz. These units can be designed as either Isolation transformers, or Auto-transformers where there is no isolation between the input and output windings. We can also design transformers to meet requirements up to 100 kV isolation.

Phase-Shifting Transformers
Phase shifting transformers are most often used for harmonic mitigation. Mag-Tran can design these units up to 1 mVA. Below are some specs from an existing transformer:

Marine-Duty Transformers

Low Impedance/High Impedance Transformers
When current limiting is needed—for instance, when powering a tube—a high impedance transformer is required.
Similarly, low impedance can often be used for power quality and harmonic mitigation.

Zig-Zag/Grounding Transformers
Mag-Tran can design and manufacture a wide range of Zig-Zag transformers used to derive an earth ground or to control harmonic currents.

High-Voltage Transformers
| A transformer having input or output voltages that are significantly higher than common line voltages. Designed and tested to a higher dielectric test voltage than the operating voltage it is designed to produce.
